This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Stoke Club ("we", "us") collects through the Stoke Club app and website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Account information. To sign in, you provide your phone number. You can also add a name, a username, and a profile picture.
Content you post. Surf sessions you record, including the spot, date and time, waves, board, notes, photos, audio recordings, comments, and reactions. Content you post is visible to your friends on Stoke Club.
Location. With your permission, we use your device's location while you are using the app to suggest nearby surf spots when you add a session. We do not track your location in the background. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings.
Contacts. With your permission, the app reads your device's contacts to show which of your contacts are already on Stoke Club and to help you invite the others. Contact matching happens on your device. We do not upload or store your address book on our servers.
Camera, photos, and microphone. With your permission, the app uses your camera and photo library so you can add a profile picture and photos to your sessions, and your microphone so you can record audio on a session. We only access these when you choose to use these features.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a device token so we can send you notifications, for example about friend requests, comments, and reactions.
Usage and diagnostic data. We collect information about how the app is used (for example, which screens and features you use) and crash reports, to understand usage and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
